The owners of this Georgian country house had been searching for a solution on how to upgrade the thermal insulation and security of their home. The original windows, albeit beautiful to look at, were way past their prime – the frames were twisted and warped, which let a draught in. They were also single glazed.

We used our Slimline box sash windows and French doors to match the authentic look of the original windows. Slim 18mm glazing bars and extremely narrow middle rails of just 35mm played a vital role in guaranteeing the warmth, security and vastly improved acoustic properties, without losing the character and visual appeal of their stunning home.
