Edwardian character restored

This special Edwardian country house has been extended and refurbished back to its original glory. Edwardians placed a great deal of importance on window detailing, so it was a challenge for the owners to find an authentic match to their recessed Edwardian windows.

Privett was commissioned to carefully design new windows for the extensions and faithfully match the traditional Edwardian detail and character of the replacement windows, curved bay windows and numerous doors.

Specially designed recessed Slimline casement windows with tulip-shaped leaded light designs were chosen for the rear windows and rectangular leads with additional patterns were used for the front windows.

The result is a stunning Edwardian country house: beautiful, warm, secure and a standout compared to the neighbouring country houses.

Beauty and charm of Edwardian detailing are throughout this period country house.

New Extension windows were designed with Edwardian proportions in mind.
